A Silent Goodbye

Party Light

(Cahaya Pesta)

In the midst of the hustle and bustle of activities at the vocational school, Isyraq was a shining star. An active student with a big smile and cheerful laughter, she had many friends who always surrounded her. Every day felt like a festival, and she was the hero. However, behind her smile, there was a deeper layer of emotion, which she only shared with those closest to her.

One afternoon, the school held their annual party. The multipurpose room was transformed into a colorful place with balloons and banners. Music was thumping, and the laughter of the students echoed in every corner. Isyraq and her friends, Dika and Rina, sat at the front table, making plans to create unforgettable memories.

“Let’s perform! We can dance on stage!” Dika exclaimed, with his enthusiasm.

Isyraq laughed. “Crazy! We can be the stars tonight!”

Rina laughed too, “But we also have to be able to prepare everything quickly! This party only happens once a year!”

That day felt like unstoppable happiness. However, in the corner of Isyraq’s heart, there was a feeling that was difficult to express. While everyone was having fun, her thoughts drifted to the figure who always supported her, her father. Since she was little, her father had always been her encouragement, the person who was always by her side when she felt doubtful. Her father was her hero in her life, and even though there was a lot of laughter and happiness out there, there was a little emptiness inside her.

Back at the party, Isyraq tried to enjoy the moment to the fullest. She danced with her friends, laughing out loud, but her heart still felt heavy. Every time she turned towards the stage, the image of her father crossed her mind. The father who had taught her not only to pursue her dreams, but also to enjoy every step of the journey.

“Isy, come on! Join us!” called Rina, bringing her back from her reverie.

Isyraq smiled and stepped onto the stage. The music played loudly, and she felt her spirit return. However, as she stepped, her thoughts drifted to her father’s face smiling proudly at every football match he had ever participated in.

The party continued into the night. The cheers of their friends filled the room, and Isyraq felt as if they could reach for the stars. But as the lights dimmed and the music stopped, a sense of emptiness enveloped her. Her father was gone, and although everyone had a great time, a significant part of her felt lost.

After the party was over, Isyraq decided to walk home. She walked down the familiar path, fond memories of her father flooding her mind. She remembered the times when he took her to the playground, taught her how to ride a bike, and took her to football games. Her father was the best, always pushing her to try harder and never give up.

But now, that figure was just a memory. On the way home, tears could not be held back. All those feelings poured out, the pent-up sadness starting to surface. “Dad, I miss you,” she whispered, feeling a deep sense of loneliness.

When she arrived home, silence greeted her. She went into her room and looked at the family photos hanging on the wall. One of them was a photo of her father carrying her on his shoulders after winning a football trophy. The memories brought him back to happier times, but also made him realize the harsh reality he had to face.

In the corner of his room, Isyraq sat on the edge of his bed, lost in thought. “I must be strong,” he told himself. He knew that even though his father was no longer with him physically, his spirit and teachings would always be with him. With a heart full of loss, Isyraq vowed to cherish every memory and continue the dreams his father had taught him.

That night, Isyraq closed his eyes, hoping to dream of his father, hoping to feel his warm embrace once more. He knew that his life’s journey had only just begun, and with the soul he inherited, he would try to reach for the stars, for himself and for his father.

Suatu sore, sekolah mengadakan pesta tahunan mereka.

Pesta berlanjut hingga malam.

Shadow of Memories

(Bayangan Kenangan)

That morning, Isyraq woke up with mixed feelings. The sunlight crept in through the window, but it was not enough to dispel the shadows that haunted her last night. Memories of her father kept spinning in her mind, making her feel like something was missing from her life. Although she tried to keep smiling and acting cheerful in front of her friends, her heart held a deep sadness.

The school reopened after a long holiday. As she stepped through the gate, the hustle and bustle of other students greeted her. The sound of laughter and small talk filled the air, but to Isyraq, everything sounded distant. She continued her steps, trying not to look different in front of her friends.

In class, Dika and Rina were already waiting in the back seat. Seeing Isyraq’s slightly faded expression, Rina immediately greeted her. “Hi, Isy! How are you? You look tired, is something bothering you?”

Isyraq tried to smile. “No, just a little tired.” She answered, although in her heart, a sense of loss continued to creep up.

“Let’s make plans to watch a movie after school! “We can watch a comedy film that has just been released,” interrupted Dika, hoping to cheer him up.

Isyraq nodded, even though he knew watching the film wouldn’t change his feelings. However, he also doesn’t want to disappoint his friends who always try to make him happy. He wants to maintain his image as a cheerful and social child, even though the burden on his heart makes him feel heavy.

Days passed, and every time he was at school, he tried his best to hide his sadness. However, when night fell, a feeling of uncertainty returned to his mind. Every time she thought of her father, the memory of his laughter and support always made her tears flow uncontrollably.

One afternoon, on his way home from school, Isyraq decided to take a walk in the park near his house. He remembers very well how his father always took him there, to play football in the open field. While walking, he saw small children playing and laughing. It felt like his heart was getting more and more depressed seeing the happiness that he seemed unable to feel.

In the middle of his thoughts, he suddenly heard a familiar voice. “Ishraq! Is that you?”

Isyraq turned his head and saw Rina approaching him. “You came here alone? Why didn’t you tell us?” she asked in a worried tone.

Isyraq shook her head. “I just need a little time to myself,” she answered softly.

“Don’t be alone, Isy. We’re here for you,” Rina said, then pulled Isyraq to sit on a park bench.

It was there, amidst the hustle and bustle of the outside world and the silence that enveloped her soul, that Isyraq began to open her heart. She told him how much she missed her father, how lost she felt without the presence of that strong figure in her life. Rina listened attentively, her eyes sparkling with empathy.

“Isy, I know this is very difficult. But you have to remember, your father would want you to be happy and to continue your life,” she said softly.

Those words awakened a feeling. Isyraq felt a glimmer of hope behind the sadness that enveloped her. She knew that even though her father was gone, his teachings and love would always live within her. She couldn’t just give up.

With courage, Isyraq was determined to change her views. She wanted to continue her life in a way that would make her father proud. He wanted to prove that all the happy memories and lessons he had been taught were not in vain.

After talking, Isyraq felt his burden was slightly reduced. He and Rina agree to make a plan to remember his father in a positive way. They will hold a charity event at school in memory of Isyraq’s father, and raise funds to help underprivileged children.

While at home, Isyraq pondered the plan. He knew this was the first step to finding a new purpose in his life. He wants to continue his father’s dream and share the love he always received with others.

That night, when he fell asleep, Isyraq had a dream. In his dream, he saw the figure of his father smiling proudly. “You have to keep going, kid. Never stop dreaming,” said his father.

When morning approached, Isyraq woke up with new enthusiasm. He knows, although life will not always be easy, he will never be alone. With the support of his friends and encouragement from his father, he is ready to face the world and move forward. Every step he takes is a way to remember his father, and he promises not to stop fighting.

Sekolah dibuka kembali setelah libur panjang.

“Hai, Isy! Apa kabar? Kamu tampak lelah, ada yang mengganggumu?”

Isyraq mencoba tersenyum. “Tidak, hanya sedikit lelah.” Jawabnya, meski dalam hatinya, rasa kehilangan terus merayapi.

“Kita buat rencana nonton bioskop sepulang sekolah yuk!

Setelah berbincang, Isyraq merasa bebannya sedikit berkurang.

Echoes of the Heart

(Gema Hati)

Days passed, and Isyraq became more determined to continue her life in a way that would make her father proud. The plan to hold a charity event at school began to take shape. She tried hard to gather her classmates and explain the idea.

Sitting on a park bench, looking out at the field where children played, she remembered how her father always said that giving back to others was one form of true happiness. Maybe, this was a way to rediscover the meaning of her life after such a great loss.

Isyraq began to explore ideas for the charity event. She invited Rina and Dika to help her. That night, the three of them gathered at Isyraq’s house, spending hours making plans. Amidst piles of paper, pencils, and notebooks, their spirits were flowing.

“How about we hold a bazaar?” Dika suggested enthusiastically. “We can sell food and used goods. The proceeds can be donated to children in need.”

“And we can invite students from other schools!” Rina added, her smile wide. “The more people who come, the more funds we can raise.”

Isyraq nodded in agreement, feeling increasingly excited. However, in his heart, anxiety began to creep in. He was worried about how his classmates would respond. “Will they join?” he muttered to himself.

The next day, they announced their plan in class. Isyraq stood in front, his chest pounding. “Guys, we want to hold a charity event to help less fortunate children. We want to raise funds through a bazaar,” he said, his voice shaking even though he tried to sound confident.

At first, the class was quiet. Some of his classmates looked at each other, hesitant. However, slowly, hands began to rise. “I can help!” shouted one of his friends, and one by one, the others became excited and offered to help.

“How about I bring some cookies?” asked Rina with sparkling eyes.

“And I can bring some drinks!” added Dika, feeling inspired by the enthusiasm that was starting to spread.

Isyraq felt emotion flowing through her. Her anxiety began to be replaced by happiness. She knew that this small step was the beginning of a long journey that would lead her to something bigger.

After a week of preparation, the day of the event arrived. Isyraq and her friends came to school early to prepare everything needed. They set up tents, set up tables, and prepared the items to be sold. The atmosphere became more lively as other students began to arrive, some of them bringing used items to sell, and some helping to prepare food.

When the bazaar opened, the crowd began to be felt. Isyraq went around, trying to sell the items that had been prepared. She saw the smiles on the faces of her friends and other students, which made her heart feel warm.

However, in the midst of the crowd, Isyraq felt something was missing. She looked at the crowd, saw the children laughing and playing, and the memory of her father came back to haunt her. She missed the figure who always supported her, who would be proud to see all of this.

While resting on a bench, Isyraq reflected. “Dad, I wish you were here,” she whispered, tears welling in her eyes. As if hearing her call, a gentle breeze blew, as if caressing her face and giving her new spirit.

With stronger determination, Isyraq returned to the bazaar. She not only wanted to raise funds, but also to give more meaning to everything she did. She realized that this was a way to celebrate her life, and she wanted to share the happiness she felt with others.

The event lasted until the afternoon, and when all the goods were sold, Isyraq and her friends collected the money they had collected. As they counted the results, tears of joy streamed down Isyraq’s cheeks. “We did it!” she shouted with joy.

However, that happiness seemed to be cut short when she saw some of her classmates who were still hesitant. “Can we really help those children?” she asked softly.

“Yes, we can!” Rina answered, patting Isyraq on the shoulder. “With this money, we can provide something meaningful for them.”

Isyraq looked at Rina and Dika, who enthusiastically supported him. That moment was a moment of enlightenment for him. He not only fights for himself, but also for the people around him. This was the first step to realizing his father’s hopes.

When the sun set, Isyraq gathered all his friends to celebrate their success. They laughed, shared stories, and planned their next steps.

“This is just the beginning, friends. “We will continue to fight and help other people,” said Isyraq, his enthusiasm burning.

Their togetherness not only strengthened Isyraq’s heart, but also brought peace. He felt that his father was always there with him every step he took. The memory of his father’s love and support is no longer a burden, but a source of strength that carries him forward.

And on that quiet night, when Isyraq fell asleep, he dreamed again. In his dream, he saw his father, who was smiling proudly. “I am always with you, son. Keep fighting, and share your love with the world,” he said, and Isyraq woke up with new enthusiasm, ready to face the next challenge.

Isyraq mengangguk setuju, merasa semakin bersemangat.

Kami ingin mengumpulkan dana melalui bazar,” ujarnya, suaranya bergetar meskipun dia berusaha terlihat percaya diri.

Awalnya, suasana kelas tampak hening. Beberapa teman sekelasnya saling berpandangan, ragu-ragu. Namun, perlahan-lahan, tangan-tangan mulai terangkat.

Setelah sepekan persiapan, hari acara tiba.

A Journey of Hope

(Sebuah Perjalanan Harapan)

After the emotional and happy bazaar, Isyraq’s life felt a little more colorful. She and her friends had managed to raise enough funds to help children in need. However, even though everything seemed good, an empty feeling still enveloped her heart. The lingering memory of her father began to make her feel depressed.

One morning, Isyraq woke up with new hope. She had decided to go to the orphanage they had chosen as the beneficiary of their charity event. With enthusiasm, she invited Rina and Dika to go with her. “We have to do something more than just giving money. We need to get involved, help them directly,” she said, her eyes sparkling.

After a long journey, they finally arrived at the orphanage. Isyraq felt a mixture of joy and anxiety. As they stepped inside, their sight was immediately greeted by cheerful little children, playing in the yard with laughter filling the air. The moment reminded Isyraq of her childhood, when she also ran and laughed carefree.

“Welcome!” greeted a middle-aged woman, who looked warm and friendly. “I am Mrs. Nisa, the administrator of this orphanage. We are very happy to have you all!”

Isyraq and his friends felt warmly welcomed. They spend time with children, playing various games and pleasing them. In those moments, Isyraq felt something different. Every child’s laughter seemed to erase the pain that had haunted him.

However, at the same time, he was also feeling very deep sadness. He looked at the children’s cheerful faces, but in his heart, he knew they had a sad story. Isyraq tries to adapt, but the image of his father always comes back to haunt every smile he sees. He remembered how his father had always fought hard for them, and now, without his presence, the burden felt even heavier.

When Mrs. Nisa invited them to talk to the older children, Isyraq felt nervous. He approached a group of teenagers who were sitting under a tree. “Hi, I’m Isyraq. We came from school to help,” he said, trying to sound confident.

One of the teenagers, a girl named Melati, looked at her expectantly. “Are you here to help us?” she asked softly.

“Yes, we brought donations and wanted to spend time with you,” Isyraq replied, trying to smile despite his heavy heart.

Melati smiled, but her smile was not entirely happy. “We are very grateful. But sometimes, we just want someone to listen to our stories,” she said, her eyes shining with hope.

Melati’s words touched Isyraq’s heart. She felt a connection between them, as if she remembered all the feelings she had felt when her father was sick. She remembered the moments when her father had told her about his struggles and the importance of sharing. “Of course, I want to hear your stories,” Isyraq replied, her heart beginning to open.

For the next few hours, Isyraq and her friends sat with the orphanage children, listening to their stories. There were stories of loss, struggle, and hope. Each story that was told touched Isyraq’s heart more and more. She realized that even though their lives were full of hardships, their spirit and hope had never been extinguished.

As the afternoon approached, Isyraq felt something had changed within him. He no longer felt trapped in the sadness that haunted him. He began to feel the importance of sharing and listening. He wanted to make a change, not only for himself but also for these children. “I promise I will come back and help more,” he said confidently.

Melati smiled broadly, and it seemed like she could feel the sincerity of Isyraq’s statement. “Thank you, Isyraq. We really appreciate it,” he said, holding her hand tightly.

On the way home, Isyraq’s mood felt lighter. He and his friends talked about their experiences, laughing and sharing stories. Rina and Dika also felt changes in themselves. This togetherness makes them closer, and the feeling of friendship that exists is so strong.

Isyraq returned home with a heart full of hope. She realized that the loss of her father would never completely go away, but she could turn the pain into strength to help others. The moment at the orphanage had raised her spirit to keep fighting.

That night, Isyraq sat on her bed, looking up at the sky filled with stars. She recalled every story she had heard, every laugh and hope that was expressed. “Father, I will continue our struggle. I will continue to help and share,” she whispered to the night wind. As if, in every breath she took, she could feel her father’s presence, giving her endless support and encouragement.

With a new burning spirit, Isyraq went to sleep with brighter hopes, ready to face the next journey in her life. A journey full of hope, struggle, and love.

“Kami sangat berterima kasih. Tapi kadang, kami hanya ingin seseorang yang mendengarkan cerita kami,” ujarnya, matanya bersinar penuh harapan.

Kata-kata Melati menggugah hati Isyraq. “Tentu, saya ingin mendengarkan cerita kalian,” Isyraq menjawab, hatinya mulai terbuka.
